Final Day at Pune Fashion Week 2014 closes with a new charismatic appeal

Pune Fashion Week gets Bigger, Better, Bolder this season. The three – day fashion extravaganza takes off in the serene ambience of Ishanya, Pune. The Finale of Pune Fashion Week gave way to some edgy, dynamic and vogue setting designers to showcase their remarkable collections sheathed by sizzling models, climaxing with stunning showstoppers on the 21st of December which flowed through the 19th and 20th of December 2014.

We also had the official launch of “Face of India 2015″ a brainchild of the enterprising & visionary Mr Badal Saboo – MD – Pune Fashion Week and Mr Kim Shi Huan – official representative of the Korea Model Association, an attiliate of the Ministry of culture & tourism – Republic of Korea.

The evening witnessed a galaxy of attendees from various genres – actors, socialites, designers, buyers, entrepreneurs and more who will get tranquilized in the luxurious visualization of the collections. Talking on the occasion of PFW Season 5, Mr. Badal Saboo, Managing Director, Pune Fashion Week expresses, “It is indeed our pleasure to host the grand season 5 of Pune Fashion Week. As a property, we have evolved over the years in terms of our offering to the crème de la creme of the city.The first 4 seasons of PFW was spent building up the presence and international design exposure to our audiences. In Season 5, we are stepping up to showcase the superlatives in creativity by celebrated designers of the industry with a mesmerizing experience to cherish which is bound to be one of the history creators for the fashion scene is Pune.’’

The grand finale of Pune Fashion Week marked a rendezvous of mesmerizing collections. ANJALI KHUSHALANI commenced the evening show. An aim of designing everything from Prêt a porter to custom ethnic couture, the designer truly believes that in the art and craft of design, “God is in the details.”  Stunning Sonal Chauhan graced the runway as the show stopper for Anjali.

Followed by Sharad Raghav, who has an artistic mind and a flair for creativity. Sharad delineates his design philosophy as “Sui Generis Personalized Perfection”.

Joy Mitra’s collection ‘The Music Room’ was inspired by one of the greatest auteurs of world cinema, Satyajit Ray’s historic movie ‘Jalsaghar’. The designer brought the old world charm put to modernity. Antiquity and vintage look with a contemporary twist. The original music of Satyajit’s movies in harmony with this collection will bring about a complete marriage between the old and new.

Established in 1985, Satya Paul is India’s premier design label with an international presence. The brand is acclaimed for ingenuity in design and a vivid color palette.

One of India’s foremost couturiers, Suneet Varma is a name that immortalizes glamour and timeless style. Meticulous craftsmanship, a strong design sensibility and an undying love for sartorial research, the Varma brand exudes fantasy, sexy sophistication and unadulterated femininity for the woman of today.

Pune Fashion Week – Final day rolled out the red carpet to famed designers and celebrities. The event was attended by upscale consumers, invited VIPs and high-end store buyers.

Apart from Fashion shows, people enjoyed Arena Exhibition, Wine and Cheese Fest, Grape Stomping and much more at the splendid Season 5 of PFW.

The fifth season finale promised to drive home the brand’s enterprising magnificence, individual style and celebrated successful persona.

The after party at Pubtown grandered with Pune Fashion Week bringing out a truly sensational weekend of fashion festivity for Pune’s fashion conscious-elite.
