India 10 August 2016: Kashmir is like the jewel crown on India’s head and has been in the news lately for various reasons. When we visualize about Kashmir its believed that “ If there is ever a heaven on earth, its here, its here, its here. “ There have been many who have cast their evil eye on Kashmir and this has been portrayed in various films, serials et al including Bollywood movies. However, there’s a Kashmir which is known to the World through the eyes of the eternal romantic Hero, Joy Mukerji ’s superhit songs and films and he was the son of the Hindi Film Industry Legend Sashadhar Mukerji . Kashmir with its beautiful snow capped mountains and landscape has been presented like a picturesque painting in most of Joy Mukerji’s songs and movies which are etched in our memories forever. Now, history repeats itself as Joy Mukerji’s son Monjoy Mukerji has portrayed the beautiful Kashmir in in his debut movie as a filmmaker in Hai Apna Dil Toh Awara .
There have been various movies shot in Kashmir but none of the movies have portrayed Kashmir in positive light to glorify the greatness of Kashmir in terms of the treatment and presentation in the manner that it has been magnificently presented by Monjoy as a filmmaker. The actors have shot in conditions where the temperatures had dropped to even below Minus 7 Degrees and they had to scale great heights to shoot as well. Monjoy recalls, “While we were shooting in Kashmir it would take the cast and crew two hours to reach the locations in Srinagar and Sonamarg, since these places were far from where they were staying.”
The songs and sequences have been aesthetically captured on camera like an amazing canvas by the ace D.O.P Anil Singh. This is a Musical rom com which features Sahil Anand, Vikram Kochhar, Herry Tangiri, Nilesh Lalwani, Niyati Joshi, Jayaka Yagnik, Divvya Chouksey and Sareh Far. 'Hai Apna Dil Toh Awara' is Produced by Monjoy Mukerji in association with Deepakk and Neha Gupta of Anikaa Films and will release at a theatre near you on August 5, 2016.
