How to do Sarvangasana?

Lie on your back; raise your legs and torso off the floor so that your body rests on your shoulders. Use your hands to keep your hips up off the floor. Close your eyes and breathe deeply in this position for 30 seconds to 1 minute and slowly return to the starting position.

Matsyasana :

Bhujangasana :

Tadasana :

How to do Tadasana ?

For tadasana you have to stand straight with your feet flat and heels a little distance and base of big toes touching. Now, raise both hands and join them in a Namaste in front of your chest. Extend the shoulder blades, bend towards the back and then release slowly. Keep your head straight in line with the middle of the pelvis and stay in this pose for 30 seconds to 1 minute. Kapalbhati :

While practicing Kapalbhati you need to sit with your legs folded in Padmasana and practice forceful breathing by softly inhaling and  forcefully exhaling.


Narishodan Pranayama :

Narishodan Pranayama or alternate nostril breathing is a breathing technique that helps keep the mind calm, happy and peaceful by just practicing it for a few minutes. It also helps release accumulated tension and fatigue. The breathing technique is named Nadi Shodhan, as it helps clear out blocked energy channels in the body, which in turn calms the mind.

For doing the narishodan Pranayama you need to place the left hand on the knee, thumb and index finger touching and the other three fingers stretched. Put the index and middle finger of the right hand between the eyebrows, breath in from one nostril while keeping the other blocked and vice-versa. Use your thumb and ring finger to close the inactive nostril.



Bhastrika :


Bhastrika is a pranayama involves forceful breathing. You have to sit in Vajrasana. Is a traditional breathing exercise in yoga that helps to increase Prana or life force in your being. It’s often used to energize the body and clarify the mind.


How to do Bhastrika Pranayama?


You have to sit in Vajrasana with your fists clenched and continue forceful breathing for 3 to 5 minutes at a stretch.



Anulom Vilom :

Anulom Vilom is a simple breathing exercise. It is a very effective way of purifying the body of the pollution and toxins. It can detox the body and clear the mind from stress. It can also reverse effects of toxins, balance hormones and regulate our metabolic rate.


How to do Anulom Vilom?

For Anulom Vilom you need to sit in Padmasana. Now with your right thumb close your right nostril and breathe in through left nostril. Be slow and gentle. Then close the left nostril with middle and ring finger and breathe out of right nostril. Follow this technique for 10 to 15 minutes daily.


Varun Mudra :

The Varun Mudra is known as the “seal of mental clarity”. When the two fingers are placed together it is meant to symbolize and encourage openness and fluid communication. The Varun Mudra helps to balance the water element in the body. It's a part of almost all Pranayama as it promotes the flow of body fluids, keeping your skin moisturized and hydrated at all times.


How to do Varun Mudra?

In Varun Mudra the hand gesture is done by pressing the little finger and the thumb together while keeping the rest of the three middle fingers straight.
