This Coffee Santhe 2016 is the annual fund raising event organised by the Womens Coffee AlIiance to empower women coffee plantation workers in association with the American arm to take forward various initiatives such as :
•Nayan Tara : Education of girl children of women coffee plantation workers in the coffee growing regions of Bababudan, Chikmagalur, Coorg, Biligiris and Sakleshpur.
•Su Prana : Health Camps conducted in the coffee growing regions of India. These camps help in awareness and health enhancement for Indian women coffee plantation workers and their girl children.
•Kushal Maya: Medical Health Insurance Scheme for families of the girl children under ‘Nayan Tara’ project.
•Aa Haar : Distribution of eggs as a protein supplement to families of women coffee plantation workers.
