Nishchal Churamani, Head – Corporate Communications for QNET in India said, “QNET’s aim is to help create awareness about health, wellness and nutrition through our products and services. During the research and development phase for our products, we realised that Protein Energy Malnutrition (PEM) is a major public health concern in India. As undernutrition is more common in the lower income group, we decided to do something about it by partnering with Lions Club. This is the second such health program we have launched this year.”

District Governor, Lions Club District 317 F, Lion B. Mohan said,”We are extremely delighted to associate with QNET. The novel approach with our district’s associated school will set an example for other schools and strengthen the role they play in their communities. I hope we do more activities like this with QNET to improve the nutritional status of the kids in the country.”

Lion Anil Kumar.B mjf, District Chairperson for CSR said "QNET has always been in the forefront of lending a helping hand to the underprivileged and the needy.  Last year they had come forward to provide the basic necessities to the flood victims in Chennai and also had contributed for a Kidney Dialysis unit at Bangalore to provide dialysis at a subsidised rate for the underprivileged. With QNET's support we propose to promote the nutritional program in various other Government schools.  We thank QNET for being a pillar of strength for many of our service activities."

QNET works with various NGOs and associations such as Lions Club, on community development initiatives, which also encourages active involvement of all its employees and independent representatives.
