The centre has deployed BalanceEye, a complete balance assessment platform developed by a Bangalore based startup Cyclops Medtech, which was recently adjudged the “Most Promising Startup of the Year” by India Electronics and Semiconductors association. Cyclops Medtech is interestingly one of the few medtech startups which has gone beyond the prototype stage and successfully deployed their devices at close to 20 locations within a short span of 3 months since launch. Niranjan Subbarao, co-founder of Cyclops Medtech mentioned that chronic vertigo and balance disorders affects almost 1 in 20 urbanites and there are only a handful of dedicated centres for vertigo management across the country. Dr. Srinivas Dorasala, a neuro vestibular specialist and another co-founder of Cyclops said “vertigo is just a symptom and it’s important to find the root cause of vertigo. The problem can be in the ear or in the brain. Early diagnosis helps in better cure and management.”

The centre is founded by Arshad Hussain and Sai Prasad. Arshad Hussain mentioned that their core objective is to provide a comprehensive diagnostic platform for holistic diagnosis, treatment and management of vertigo and balance disorders. He said “apart from opening up our facility to all clinicians from across the state,  we also intend to conduct regular workshops and CME programs to bridge the knowledge gap in the clinical community
