It was a special day for the children, mostly from underprivileged section of society, of
Shri Shirdi Sai Baba Primary and Higher Secondary School of the city.  As part of WAP's effort to provide free dental care and preventive treatment along with awareness drive, children of the school underwent a free dental screening the school campus.

Padmashree Guinness Book of World record holder Dr. Manjula Anagani, WAP advisory board member inaugurated the event. In her inaugural speech, she talked about how to keep their smiles healthy. She advised students to develop healthy habits to ensure that they can keep dental health always.

WAP founder and president Mr. P. Chirag Reddy, Bommanahalli MLA Mr. Satish Reddy, Dr. K.J. Purushotham, Dr. S.R.Nagaraj, Mr Narendra Babu, Dr. Kavitha Reddy Seshanka Binesh, D.R.Shridhar were present on the occasion.

Expansion:  As part of this drive, the WAP team will continue screen students of 35 schools of South Bengaluru for dental illness.

Mr. Chirag Reddy, the president of WAP had oragnised this free camp where stress has been given to create awareness of common dental diseases,  preventive dentistry by teaching brushing methods and treating the condition so as to prevent further damage.

Mr. Reddy informed that WAP has for the purpose invested in pre sterile disposable diagnostic kits and examination gloves.  "WAP has also set its unique and noble stand, in terms of quality care for the less privileged children by making use of a portable X Ray which boasts of ultra low radiation coupled with the world's thinnest sensor. Dr Suni Plus to be used for the children during their visits to the dental office." he said.
