Topper’s Speak Seminar cum Felicitation Ceremony

 FIITJEE Punjabi Bagh centre organized “Toppers Speak Seminar cum felicitation ceremony” wherein top performing students of its institute in JEE Advanced 2017 & JEE Main 2017 spoke about their success stories and “what they did differently” that helped them to achieve success.

It has been exciting year for FIITJEE Punjabi Bagh Centre and its students till now. Major achievements this year in JEE Advanced, 2017 has been :

·         256 students qualified JEE Advanced, 2017 from FIITJEE Punjabi Bagh Centre
·         27 students were felicitated based on their JEE Advanced, 2017 ranks.

All the achievers along with their parents & family members graced the occasion. The “Topper Speak Seminar” was presided over by Mr. Partha Halder – Centre Head of FIITJEE Punjabi Bagh Centre. Toppers of JEE Advanced 2016, Animesh Bohara (currently studying computer science at IIT Bombay) & Ritesh Goenka (currently studying computer science at IIT Bombay) joined in share their experience of studying at IIT Bombay.

The toppers were felicitated by awards after which it was an open house wherein future aspirants put forward questions to the toppers on preparatory approach, revision, personal alignment, use of electronic gadgets during preparatory years, food habits, importance of physical exercise and a wide range of questions.

Responding to one of the question’s – Kushagra Juneja (AIR – 11)  said “It is not difficulty to balance studies between IIT-JEE and CBSE Board Exam, if requisite emphasis is given on the fundamental concepts of each subject. It is a myth that IITJEE requires short cut techniques. Infact, conceptual understanding can help to solve questions for both types of exams. One must refer to the marking scheme of board exam, which will help to decide how much to elaborate and write.”
Addressing the audience Mr. Partha Halder Centre Head of FIITJEE Punjabi Bagh Centre said, “A child needs to raise the bar with every passing month leading upto the IITJEE.” Adding further, he said “One must strive for excellence in every sphere of learning during the preparatory period. This should be followed by practice and judging the reasons for committing mistakes which will help to plug the loopholes.  Students should compete with themselves with the sole objective to perform better than their previous performance.”
