Barbeque Nation launches digital campaign to promote family dining this Diwali!

Bengaluru, October 18, 2017: Barbeque Nation, one of the leading casual dining restaurant chains in India, has launched a promotional campaign, urging people to indulge in family dining at the restaurant, this Diwali.

The campaign was conceptualized considering the excitement and bustle during Diwali and the need to unwind and spend quality time with family, possibly by dining together. The brand has released a 38 second video, where a witty young girl is seen narrating the circumstance at her house during the festival, with her family members preoccupied in a variety of activities. In order to break the humdrum, she decides to book a table at Barbeque Nation for her family and offers them that much needed break and togetherness.

To engage with customers through digital and social media, Barbeque Nation is promoting the video on a number of leading platforms including facebook and Hotstar. The video also recorded over 3 lakh views on facebook within 3 days of the launch.

Sameer Bhasin, Chief Executive Officer, Barbeque Nation Hospitality Ltd said, “No celebrations or merriments are complete without a scrumptious meal with family! Our campaign clearly emphasizes the need for each one of us to commit some time to our families amidst the festive hustle and enjoy an evening of great cuisine and relaxation.”

About Barbeque Nation

Barbeque Nation is a pioneer in India to promote ‘DIY’ (do-it-yourself) cuisine with a concept of live on-the-table grill, since its first store in Mumbai in 2006.  Barbeque Nation was founded with a simple vision – offering a complete dining experience to customers at affordable prices. The philosophy extended to all aspects of service and caused the chain to expand rapidly. By 2008, the barbeque chain had a significant pan-India presence, with outlets in Chandigarh, Delhi NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. Across India, the chain appealed to the value conscious Indian consumer. In 2015, Barbeque Nation introduced ‘Live Counters’ at their outlets, where a chef cooked food exactly according to customer’s preferences.

Adhering to the principle of always putting the customer first, the restaurant chain continually offers innovative food festivals across outlets introducing patrons to a range of interesting foods - of which the Bollywood Barbeques food festival is a part. Today, Barbeque Nation is present in more than 86 outlets across India and is looking to new shores, to spread the Barbeque Nation magic.
