Square, First Mall in the Country to have Connecting Bridge from Sampige
Road Metro station

: Mantri Square, one of India’s largest mall
developed by Mantri Developers Pvt. Ltd., a leading
real estate developer in India, has added another feather in their cap
by launching the first ever connecting bridge in the country, from Sampige
Metro station to Mantri Square. The connecting bridge will lead commuters from
the station directly to the first floor of the mall. Present at the
occasion were Shri. Katte Satyanarayana, Honourable Mayor of Bangalore, Shri.
K.V Mallesh, Area Corporator, Mr. Sushil Mantri, Chairman
& Managing Director of Mantri Developers Pvt. Ltd. and Mr. Pradeep Singh Kharola, Managing
Director, Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL).
The direct
connection with the Bangalore Metro, which is now one of the most popular
public transport modes in the city, will also help in reducing vehicular
traffic and provide hassle free access to metro commuters getting off at
Sampige metro station directly into the mall. The
connectivity to the Sampige Road Metro Station has been jointly developed by
BMRCL and Mantri Developers. This is the first
and the only Metro-Mall connectivity in India.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr.
Sushil Mantri, Chairman & Managing Director, Mantri Developers Pvt. Ltd

Metro can provide. ” he said.
Mantri
Square-Sampige Road metro station will provide the perfect opportunity for
shoppers across the city to leverage the quick metro ride and indulge in a
retail therapy at Mantri Square with 250 retail outlets and over a 10000
brands to choose from. The bridge will extend reach to the large number of
Bangaloreans who avail Namma Metro services from Peenya to Sampige Road. The 9.8-km-long strech has 10 stations and the route encompasses
Yeshwantpur Industrial Area, Yeshwantpur, Sandal Soap Factory, Mahalakshmi,
Rajajinagar, Kuvempu Road and Srirampuram before terminating at Sampige Road.
The
metro station constructed by Mantri Developers consists of two
basements, one ground and one upper floor. It was opened to the public on
1 March 2014. The station area covers around 80,000 sq feet
