Inauguration of NSIC New Office Building BengaluruIn the state of Karnataka, NSIC is rendering various services/schemes for promoting and fostering the growth of MSMEs with the following establishments.

1.    Industrial Town, Rajaji Ngar, Bngalore,
2.    Peenya Industrial Estate, Bangalore
3.    Udyambagh, Belgaum,
4.    Trainning centre at KGF, Kolar

In addition to the above, NSIC is operating godowns for distribution of raw materials at the following depots:
1.    Rajaji Nagar Industrial Town, Bengaluru for distribution of aluminum, zinc, copper etc
2.    Peenya Industrial Estate, Bengaluru  for distribution of paraffin wax
3.    1st Phase, Peenya, Bengaluru for distribution of copper.

NSIC started training Centre at KGF, Kolar in Feb 2013 for providing the training facilities in the following areas:
a.    Computer Training
b.    Fashion design & garment manufacturing
c.    Electrical Wiring
d.    Mobile repair.

After inauguration of the training center at Kolar over 200 trainees had passed out in various training courses.  Training under ATI started and over 100 trainees are undergoing 3 months training programme.  Keeping in view of the demand for local residents training in Mushroom cultivation and Agarbathi Manufacturing is being started shortly and 60 trainees in each batch will be provided training.

To reach the potential customers and propagate the schemes of NSIC to MSMEs, NSIC is conducting exhibitions, buyer seller meets, organizing market campaigns/workshops and also participating in programmes organized by MSME Associations and other agencies.

In addition to above NSIC Bangalore has organized MSME DEFEXPO 2013 – an international  event to show case the strength the of Indian MSME in the field of Defense, Aerospace and Homeland security which is well acclaimed by all.

Apart from the above schemes of NSIC to support MSMEs, NSIC has tie-up arrangement with 29 commercial banks which include private and nationalized banks. Branch Offices of NSIC Karnataka, has submitted credit proposals of various MSMEs to various banks and some proposals approved by banks for extending credit facilities to MSMEs during the previous years.
