Tata Consultancy Services expands Singapore operations Banking and Financial Services
New 1000-seat centre to deliver digital and IT services to leading global banks

Singapore| Mumbai: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), (BSE: 532540, NSE: TCS) a leading IT services, consulting and business solutions organisation, today announced that it has expanded its presence in Singapore with the opening of the new 1000-person TCS Singapore Banking and Financial Services (BFS) Center. The facility will provide a range of application development, digital and IT services to leading global banks in the Asia Pacific region. The new centre was inaugurated by Tata Consultancy Services CEO N Chandrasekaran.

Tata Consultancy Services’ BFS business has grown substantially in Singapore, and is a recognized leader in the sector. The new TCS Singapore Banking and Financial Services (BFS) Center replaces a 500-seat centre opened in 2011 and will offer a broader range of services, with a major focus on Digital offerings.

Globally over 40% of Tata Consultancy Services’ revenue comes from the Banking and Financial Services (BFS) sector. TCS partners with the world’s major banks and financial institutions through TCS Banking and Financial Services (BFS) services and TCS BaNCS software solutions. In Asia Pacific, TCS has partnered with leading banks and financial institutes across the 12 countries it operates in.
