Bangalore, November 18th, 2015:Over 300 medical professionals participated in a live webinar showcasing Scalp Micro-Pigmentation, a revolutionary, non-invasive form of scalp grooming today. This live webinar was organized and conducted by Hairline International Skin and Hair Clinic, and offered a ringside view of the procedure conducted by Dr. Dinesh Gowda, Dermato-surgeon, Hairline International.

During the 5 hour long demonstration, Dr Gowda demonstrated the process of Scalp Micro-pigmentation which is also known as medical hair tattooing. He explained to his audience how this is the ideal solution for both men and women with thinning/balding issues and for those who do not have enough of hair for transplants to take place smoothly. During the process, he injected natural pigments into the scalp to recreate the natural look of hair follicles and strands. He also explained how the process works ideally for women who tend to lose hair extensively above the forehead as well as for men, around the crown.

Speaking on the procedure, Dr. Dinesh Gowda said, “This procedure is ideal for all kinds of hair loss at various stages. It may also be done on any patient irrespective of hair and skin colors or age”. Explaining the procedure, he says that the follicle/strand build-up of micro-pigmentation happens over 3 sessions usually set apart by a week. The process allows for a very gradual and subtle rejuvenation/infill of the hairline which is rarely discernible

Speaking on the process, Ms Bani Anand, Founder and Managing Director, Hairline International said, “This is an internationally recognized and popular procedure which works well for both men and women with hair trouble. We have ensured that our staff are certified to conduct the procedure and this webinar was a means of connecting with those of the medical community as well as potential patients”.

B.Santhosh a medical student who watched the live broadcast of the webinar said, “Whenever a new procedure is brought into play it is always ideal to watch an expert demonstrate it. This opportunity has been a great one as it gives us a first-hand view of what to expect and helped us solve any queries immediately. It also helps us in facing our patients’ questions when they come in for a consultation”.
