Roposo emerges as India's homegrown digital platform in a new avatar 'TV by the people'

The comprehensive digital platform launches with #TrulySwadeshi campaign

The target is to have the entire app UI available to the users in Kannada by November 2017 – it would be one of the first five languages to be included in the app. Additionally, by the end of this year, there would be a channel exclusively in Kannada for the regional audience.

Since 2016, Roposo’s user engagement has increased 100% – from 2,00,000 posts a month to 15,000 posts a day. To top it all, with a thriving Bazaar of home sellers, Roposo targets a revenue of 120,000 dollars a month in a year’s time -  from a community of 12,000 sellers, 1,000 are from Karnataka. The unique Indian platform aims to break-even by mid-2018.

Continuing its efforts of adding a fun element, Roposo has also introduced quirky desi stickers and GIFs for iPhone users that depict the different moods of millennial Indians. The interesting pack helps add some light-hearted entertainment to iMessage conversations creating beautiful stories, which bring back great memories when re-read, rather, re-enjoyed. The app also lets the users add voice-overs and music to their homemade videos and photos – personalising the whole experience.
