Jain Irrigation bags Bhusawal's Rs 84.5 Crore Amrut project

Jalgaon, Oct 9, 2017: Jain Irrigation System has received the work order for Rs 84.5 crore Bhusawal (Maharashtra) water supply project. The funds for this project would be given under the AMRUT Scheme of the Central Government. The company has to execute this project within the next 24 months, said Mr Atul Jain, Director, Jain Irrigation. 

Central Govt. has commenced the AMRUT Scheme with the object to regularize the water supply. Under this Scheme, Jain Irrigation Systems has bagged this work order through national competitive bidding. This project envisages drinking water supply directly to consumers. The work involved is intake structures, water treatment plant, 220 km line which includes raw water, pure water main pipelines and distribution system, 11 RCC elevated storage tanks. This project will supply pure drinking water for Bhusawal citizens for the next 30 years. Jain Irrigation has to implement this project within 24 months. At present, Jain Irrigation is executing various projects in water supply sector including 24X7 water supply schemes in India and abroad. Jain Irrigation is providing micro and drip irrigation systems, piped irrigation projects, tissue culture, solar pumps etc.
