A beautiful healthy glowing skin is a dream for many irrespective of gender. Many of us follow daily skin regimens religiously only to find that all those ”natural” products were a waste of money. Skin is the largest organ of the body, protecting and shielding your whole body from any kind of discomfort. Taking extra measures to protect your skin is natural and vital for basic health care.

Many of us often face breakouts in the form of non-acne pimples, that look like little bumps and are difficult to get rid of. Many times we don't even consider the cause of these breakouts and continue using products that may be the cause. There are various kinds of face bumps and various reasons that cause these breakouts.  There are also many effective home remedies to prevent and cure these breakouts.

The best thing to do is to follow a hygiene routine more than a skin-care routine induced with chemicals. In case of a breakout avoid touching and poking the infected area as you can spread the germs to other parts of your body. A good skin routine includes changing your pillow cover daily, cleanse and moisturize your face every night before sleeping, drinking plenty of fluids (especially water), keeping separate towels and soaps and less use of cosmetic products.

Up until decades ago, women used natural products at home for facials and skin problems as there were no parlors or salons at that time. And those same household tricks are still effectively beneficial for all of us for our daily use.

Below we have a list of home remedies that tell you how to get rid of small bumps on face:

    1. Steam

The best way to release toxins and clear out your skin and lungs is Steam. Steam helps the pores of our skin to open up gently and release all the piled up toxins in bodies. Due to our busy schedules, we don't exercise or move our bodies much which avoids sweating - the main source of letting toxins out. If we don't sweat regularly, steam helps in moving the process along faster.

A daily ritual that will cost you 10-15 mins of your time can do wonders for your skin. You will need hot steaming water, a bowl, a towel and/or essential oil of your choice. Place your head above the bowl filled with hot water (and essential oil if required), place a towel over your head covering your entire face and let the steam do the rest. It's a process that is soothing and the glow on your skin after the steam cannot be done with any kind of makeup.

After completing these steps remember your skin pores are clean and open and prone to soak in more dust particles in the air than when the pores were closed. Dab your face gently with a separate towel and apply a moisturizer suiting your skin type to gently close back the open pores.

    2. Manuka Honey Mask

For those of you who are prone to be exposed to pollution and dust more often than others, the Manila honey mask can help you clear your skin out. Tiny bumps on the face could be an allergic reaction as well and the Manila honey mask is an antibacterial that can help reduce inflammation.
