In 2013, the Hennessey Venom GT set a Guinness World Record for the fastest production car. It reaches from 0 – 300km/h in an average acceleration time of 13.63 seconds. In 2014, it recorded a top speed of 270.49 mph (435.31 km/h). The car brakes consist of 15.0 x 1.3-inches carbon-ceramic rotors and 6-piston brembo fixed calipers.

The Venom GT is powered by a twin turbocharged GM LSX engine. The mid-engine V8 is mated to the rear wheels which has a Ricardo 6-speed manual transmission. The car length is 183.7 inches, 77.2 inches wide and 44.7 inches in height. It offers a fuel capacity of 70 liters. An adjustable suspension system allows ride height adjustments by 2.4 inches depending upon the speed and driving conditions. The car offers optional upgrades of tires, fiber finish, Stefano Ricci Bespoke interior and stereo systems.
