Hakka noodles recipe - This is one of my all time favourite dinner recipe. It is a one of the best options to enjoy when you get a craving to have asian cuisine. Hakka noodles is a perfect one meal dinner which can be quickly made with a handfull of ingredients. Noodles to make this dish are easily available in any Indian grocery store. This recipe is an Indo Chinese version of hakka noodles in which the noodles are cooked with garlic and vegetables.
In this recipe noodles are mixed with a variety of vegetables and sauces. Hakka noodles belongs to the Asian cuisine which has been widely adapted in India and is quite popular. This dish can be found in every restaurant and is also, one of the most popular Indian street food Today.
I usually prepare hakka noodles whenever I have a craving to have some chinese cuisine for lunch or dinner. Veg hakka noodles is also an amazing dish to get your kids to eat their veggies. As preparing these noodles doesn’t take more than 20 minutes to prepare, it's one of my go to recipes on a lazy day.

Ingredients for Vegetable Hakka noodles recipe
For The Chilli Oil
1/4 cup oil
5 whole dry kashmiri red chillies
For The Hakka Noodles
3 cups boiled noodles
4 tablespoons of oil
1/2 cup finely chopped spring onions
5 cloves of finely chopped garlic
1/4 cup of chopped fresh beans
1/2 inch Ginger grated
3 dry kashmiri red chillies
1/2 cup carrot sliced finely
1/4 cup cabbage finely chopped
1/2 cup thinly sliced yellow and red capsicum
3 tsp soy sauce
salt to taste
2 pinch of black peppercorns (kalimirch) powder
1/4 cup finely chopped spring onion greens
Method to make Hakka noodles recipe
Preparing the chilli oil
Take some oil in a deep pan and heat it on a high flame till it smokes.
Now to the oil break and add the red chillies.
Now cover the pan with a lid and put the flame off.
Once the oil is cool strain it using a strainer and store it.
Preparing Boiled Noodles
1. In a big pot add enough water and set it on medium flame.
2. Now add the noodles to the hot water
3. Add salt as per taste for the noodles
4. Let the noodles cook for 10 to 12 minutes till perfectly cooked
5. Drain the water from the noodles
6. Drizzle some oil on the cooked noodles
For the hakka noodles
1. Take some oil in a wok or kadai
2. Add the Garlic, Ginger, spring onion whites and red chillies and stir fry on a high flame for about 30 seconds.
3. Now Add the Baby corn, carrot slices, cabbage, French Beans, yellow and red capsicum and stir fry on a high flame for 2 minutes.








4. To the sauted vegetables add soya sauce, chilli sauce and salt, mix well.

5. Now add the noodles and toss on a high flame for 2 minutes.

6. Sprinkle the black pepper powder and pour 2 tsp chilli oil and toss the noodles to give it a mix.

7. Add the spring onion greens and toss the noodles again.

8. Serve the prepared hakka noodles along with soya sauce, chilli sauce and vinegar.
