Saira Banu encourages fans to keep Dilip Kumar in their prayers after he was hospitalised owing to breathlessness.

Due to breathlessness Dilip Kumar has been hospitalised to Mumbai's Hinduja Hospital in Khar in Mumbai. His body has been found to be deficient in haemoglobin, and physicians have done six tests, the results of which are expected by evening. His health is currently steady, but the risk to his health is still present. Last month he  was admitted to the hospital for a regular check-up and then he left. By profession dilip kumar is an actor, producer and philanthropist. In 1944, he made his acting debut in Jwar Bhata his role as Jagdish. He is famous and well known in the hindi cinmea.

After complaining of breathlessness, he was hospitalised today morning, June 6, 2021, under the supervision of cardiologist Dr Nithin Gokhale and pulmonologist Dr Jalil Parkar.

For the past two days dilip kumar has been having trouble in breathing. Saira Banu, the actor's wife, revealed that the doctor has requested to do tests and x-rays, after which it will be determined how many more days he will remain in the hospital. He had asked for prayers from his supporters says his wife. He is not admitted in ICU. He will be discharged soon if his health is good. He will kept in hospital for a few days.

After testing positive with COVID-19, two of his younger brothers died during the COVID-19 pandemic: Aslam Khan died in August 2020 when he was 88 years of age and Ehsan Khan died in September 2020 when he was 90 years of age.
