Kelly Osbourne has been struggling with excess body weight for many years due to her unhealthy lifestyle. She surprised all her fans with an amazing body transformation. Today she follows a healthy lifestyle which includes plant based diets and intermittent fasting, which she credits for her amazing weight loss. 

Kelly Osbourne starts her day with a cup of coffee and an immune boosting juice made from greens. As she follows Intermittent fasting, she said that she only has healthy juices through out the day and then enjoys a healthy meal for dinner.

What is Intermittent fasting?

Intermittent fasting is a new health and fitness trend that has been shown to aid in weight reduction, enhance metabolic health, guard against disease, and extend one's life expectancy. This pattern is characterised by periods of fasting followed by intervals of eating. Unlike other weight loss diets, it does not focus on what to eat, it rather focuses on when to eat. The 16/8 method of intermittent fasting is the most popular type of intermittent fasting. In this method you fast for 16 Hours and you restrict your eating only in the remaining 8 hours. This type of fasting helps with weight loss as the body burns fat for fuel when you fast.

Kelly Osbourne credits her incredible weight loss feat to  Intermittent fasting. Since 2012, Osbourne has followed a vegan diet and still continues to enjoy it. 

Kelly Osbourne's Workout Routine

Kelly Osbourne worked along with her personal trainer Lacy Stone on her weight loss journey. HIIT sessions and circuits of exercises that activate multiple muscle groups such as a series of squats, lunges, deadlifts, push-ups, dumbbell bicep curls, shoulder press, and arm dips, are known to be the most effective for losing weight quickly as per Lacy Stone (Kelly Osbourne's trainer).  Doing three sets of 12 to 20 reps twice or three times a week, help to acheive best results. The plank and bicycle kicks are the most basic yet very effective moves for full-body toning and to strengthen and tighten your core,  and reduce back pain while toning and strengthening your arms and legs.

According to Kelly Osbourne's trainer, Lacy Stone, combining cardio activities like running or swimming at a steady pace for 20, 30, or 45 minutes along with strength training mentioned above is the most effective way to lose weight. Performing cardio at least three days a week is recommended by Stone.
