By profession she is an American professional basketball player. She is known for playing Minnesota Lynx of the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA). Collier was selected by the Lynx with the 6th overall selection in the 2019 WNBA Draft after competing for the University of Connecticut Huskies throughout her collegiate basketball career.

Collier started her high school career at Jefferson City High School in Jefferson City, Missouri, and she averaged 17.9 points and 9.8 rebounds per game. In her junior year, she switched to Incarnate Word Academy where she averaged a high of 24.6 points and 12 rebounds per game. She has also played for her high school's track team. In the 2013 and 2015 she was the Gatorade Missouri Player of the Year as well as a finalist for the 2015 Naismith Award for National Player of the Year and a High School All-American for the Women's Basketball Coaches Association.
